What are some common pitfalls during an interview?

Some of the common pitfalls are as  basic as  you’re   a,b,c’s  but they are  worth noting here  as  we  have  seen   these  mistakes happen  over  and  over.  First,  make certain that  you  arrive on  time to  your  interview. We have  witnessed  time  and again  where a  candidate  shows up late  and  doesn’t  make a courtesy  call to the  recruiter.  You may  think  that once  you are late, it  is too late even for this  courtesy call,  but all  details such as these are  noted.  In  this  highly  competitive environment,  you need to make sure  your actions  reflect that you are serious and care about the  interview and the position.  Make certain that you have done  your research about the company and the position so that you may respond intelligently and convincingly when the recruiter asks why you wish to work for the company and why you are interested in the position. If you have no idea what the company is about and do not convey a compelling reason for wanting the position, it will raise a red flag and you will more than likely not be on the short list for the position. After your interview, thank the recruiter by either sending an email or snail mail a Thank You letter or card. Courtesy such as this goes a long way.
